what does it mean when a girl you like all of a sudden starts yelling, "HI [DerRelient's name]!" whenever she sees you when just last week she more or less didn't know you existed? and hen on sign-up sheets she writes "derrelienttttt [my actual name, not derrelient]"

I think she could like you. BUT girls tend to be confusing, its our nature. so she could just want to be your friend. So if I were you I would try to talk to her as a friend and then see what happens.

I do too actually, my weekends start on Wednesdays with our water basketball, then thursday-sunday we always find something to do. So....my weekend starts tomorrow!!! And I have the best group of guyfriends EVER!!!

Lucky. There is a person here (me) who doesn't make friends easily or get along with people who treat her as a source of 'third-wheelness' very well.

Do you know how hard it is to find somebody that likes quirkiness like mine in California? I'm very good for one thing, but you cannot see it unless you sit me in front of a blank canvas...and I will fill it. So that makes me look useless most of the time. Maybe when I go to college, eh? This has nothing to do with a lack of social mixing.

Y'know, I'm actually really happy with my group of friends here at college because, for once, I don't feel like a tag-along. They genuinely want me there and they always make sure I have a date for all their activities. It is soooo nice. But...I haven't gone over to their place tonight....yet.....

Yeah, I see it as being nice because (generally) everybody has decided what they want to do for a living...and that means people in your class will at least have one interest in common with you. Niiiice. I get along with easy-going art people very, very well. I can't wait to see what exciting things and people there are to learn about.

I love my college too. I did 3 years at a community college and never made friends... it was like we all sat in a class together for the semester and never built friendships. Sad really.

but now that I'm at Grand Canyon University... its such a small school that we all bond. I was making friends my first day!
